Regardless of the weather, Leda felt like taking a walk. Actually she thought the rain added a little something anyway. So, bundled up and wearing a wide brimmed hat, she went for a stroll. She was pondering taking the opportunity to splash in a few puddles like she had when she was a kid.

[For one 'specially, but open.]

Tara had a feeling her mother would want to see the shop over the weekend, so she spent today trying to get everything in perfect order. It was unlikely any guest would actually go so far as to move the bookcases to look for dust underneath -- but if anyone did, Tara was prepared.

Just because she wasn't likely to have any visitors herself didn't mean Cally couldn't get into the spirit of helping out those who would.

This is why the sign in the front window currently read

Parents Weekend Dorm Decoration Special
30% off all construction paper, poster frames, and cleaning supplies

If her fellow students weren't interested in last-minute cleaning, they could at least make signs directing their less welcome relatives to someone else's room entirely.

Shunsui happily realized that one of the benefits of being too lazy to come into the shop was that Apu-san was exceptionally annoyed when Shunsui did show up.

Of course, some of the thrill was taken out of it when Apu-san channeled that annoyance into a huge pile of paperwork that apparently needed to get management approval.

"You're assistant manager," Shunsui tried to point out. "Isn't that close enough?"

As he stood behind the bar, cleaning glasses and testing out how much room he had to stretch out his wings without knocking bottles over, Chrono was trying to decide if it was a good thing or not that he'd decided to do this as a way to keep himself from just hermitting it up in the church basement and never coming out...

It probably wasn't. But, at the same time, he couldn't help being drawn to it and the memories there, no matter how much it decided to change. He had sized the formidable Tiny up already, and decided he was glad to resign himself to the drinks rather than the door.

The Devil's Nest is open!

Helen had been here, but by mid-afternoon she was feeling more than a little under the weather. Anyone stopping in would find a note explaining the situation.

Helen had left the building.

As it was Thursday, Millie was running the store. Even if Proudfoot doubted that curling up in a chair with a book was quite the same thing. Then again, as long as she got to doze in the sun she didn't really care.

Luke was 99.9% sure he wasn't gonna have visitors for Parents Weekend but he decided to get some drinking out of the way just in case. Noticing the cute drunk guy wasn't there tonight, Luke sidestepped Tino and decided to make his own drink. He trusted himself way more than he trusted Tino. What a creeper.

Sov arrived early in the shop. They had found something called a bicycle, which seemed intriguing and useful, and the plan for the day was to take it apart. It couldn't be that hard.

It wasn't really. But there were tiny screws that kept getting lost and made putting it back together a little harder than it should be.

[open shop!]
