Raven had a no-watching-horrific-movies-at-work-especially-before-a-date-with-Jono policy going at work today. But she did have her laptop, from which came soothing music as she searched for a hotel room for the night, focusing on websites that let one see what the room looked like before booking.

True, it wasn't exactly rare for Ariel to get easily distracted with fashion while she was at work, but it was particularly potent today, as there were plenty of very cute and bright and colorful spring dresses that had come in and were in need of being hung up and put out on the floor.

Ariel couldn't help it that she was going to have to try and see how they all looked on her first! Consider it a help; this way, she'll know if anything was just not cute enough to be sold, really. Right?

Gunther was ranting and raving about something, but Mary wasn't paying attention. Instead, she was drawing little hearts around a name on her notepad. Someone had picked an interesting time to relive her high school crush on Danny McCoy. Mary was sure she'd get over him eventually, though she had no idea how long that would take.

Tonight's musical theme was apparently reggae, which, while Emma didn't mind at all, didn't really fit the theme of the club. Still, it was nice not to need her earplugs this week.

She had some of her homework for her advanced correspondence classes with her tonight, so whenever Emma wasn't checking IDs, she was immersed in French literature, particularly le Diable amoureux.

It had seemed appropriate, okay?
