Helen's here and both she and the horses are in a particularly good mood. Spring is definitely in the air.

There was tea, there was no upside-down rain (though it had left evidence of its presence in the form of the occasional sneeze), and there were grilled shrimp skewers from Taste of Thai on the counter while Cally re-checked the inventory order.

Grilled shrimp skewers had very little to do with art supplies, granted, but they kept the person who was supposed to be selling said supplies awake past lunchtime, so they earned a place in this narrative Cally's thoughts as she worked.

[OOC: The OCD was washed up into the sky by the rain. Mmm, shrimp.]

See, the problem with being a time demon with nothing but a large span of time both ahead and behind him was that time, as a present sort of thing, tended to get away with you. Chrono knew that he hadn't been in for the past couple of weeks, but it certainly didn't feel like a couple of weeks had even gone by. He tried not to think about it; he'd had all of eternity to figure it out and failed to do so, and he's have all of eternity to keep trying to figure it out, and....

Much easier, he felt, to just show up, polish glasses behind the bar, and not even think about it. It was probably pointless. And, if not, time would tell.

Wallace was behind the bar with his laptop tonight. He was looking up vacation spots for the summer. Did he want a cruise or a resort? Which would get him laid more?

Another day working in the shop, and today Sov was rearranging some stuff on the shelves according to colour. It was as good a principle as ever, although some thing were multicoloured and were hard to fit into the pattern. Sov had a feeling that a Handdara In-Dweller would have turned that into a philosophical lesson of some kind, but they were happy just to accept the fact and make multi-coloured a category of their own.
