Luke's Diner | Friday

Bod breezed into the diner, thoughts on opening things up, getting things started, grabbing some food and then heading back to Kansas in short order. He knew that time in Kansas was slow and it wouldn't be too long since he was gone but he still didn't want to dawdle. He chatted with the cooking staff about Lacey's departure and their desire to stay in contact before he left them to their cooking and he opened up the diner, dish rag over a shoulder.

There were so many interesting pieces that arrived today. Harper decided that they deserved a place of honor in the window display with some fake greenery to accent them. She wasn't sure exactly how the pottery was supposed to be used, but she had faith in the creativity of her customers.

Well, this was it. Last day. After this, the store would be Ariel's to run, for better or for worse. Jenny supposed she should spend the day setting things in order.

Instead, she pulled a bottle of rum from beneath the counter, took a swig straight from it, and decided to spend the day trying on the clothes and getting absolutely smashed, because why the bloody hell not?

Pixie Dust is open, even if the clerk is rather tipsy and dressed in something absurd.

Darling Summer Party!, Beach, Friday Evening

It had taken some doing to get a decent party together on an island currently off the coast of Atlantis, but the Darlings knew that all things were possible with enough money and a few well-placed tantrums from Juliet. And so the pre-Fourth of July summer fiesta came to be.

Chinese paper lanterns marked off a section of the beach, and a mix of popular music came from the DJ booth in one corner. A barbecue-themed buffet was set up in a tent, which also hosted a few small tables and chairs for anyone who needed to take a break.

Once the sun was all the way down, a special fireworks display was scheduled to go off -- just to add that special finishing frisson to the night.

The Park, Friday evening -- iCarly broadcast!

Sam was good this week -- she skipped going to the party before the broadcast. Which was not to say she was on time, just that she wasn't late because of going to a party on the beach.

She lead the way to a decent clearing in the park where they'd have room to move around, but close enough to the paths and street lights that Freddie wouldn't have trouble with the lighting. She remembered it from when she thought she was a gremlin, not that she was going to be bringing that up any time soon.

. . . Though if one looked closely, one might spot her teeth marks in the wood on the bench, nearby.

"Alright, Benson. Let's get this show on the road."

Groovy Tunes - Friday [June 24th]

The first session of classes were over, his finals had been easy and it was a pretty damn good day in Atlantis. Not that Seifer had gotten out and around the ancient city, but he could see it on his walk from the school. So, things were pretty calm and okay today.

Now, if he could only get rid of the nagging headache. He'd gone through an entire super-sized bottle of that tylenol stuff, and George wasn't around the island right now for him to get anything stronger.

He'd almost broke down this morning and rifled through her stuff for the vicodin.

As it was, there wasn't any music playing, and he was quietly moving around the shop, organizing cds.
