Hook was moving properly into the office at the Mauvaise Chance Apartments that day. A boombox blasted a song as he went about adding velvet curtains, bejeweled ornate decorations, and installed some traps to stop any would be thieves.

Mary checked in with Danny at the beginning of her shift. No one had seen Mike yet, but Mitch was planning a wet t-shirt contest to try and draw him out. The boys seemed to think that Mike wouldn't be able to resist one whether he was married or not. She had to roll her eyes at that one, but there wasn't much else she could do from a distance.

What she could do was call up Portalocity and see If she couldn't get out to Las Vegas later in the week. It would mean leaving Gunther in charge for a few days, but Mary had faith that he could handle it under the circumstances.

Emma was in about as good as mood as she could be, all things considered. Finding out that your ex-boyfriend had been in town and not even bothered to call and apologize for being an ass? It was rather possible that her mood was actually not good at all. Point of fact, Tiny was practically hiding behind the bar from her. When she was in one of these moods.

Emma was at her station, alternately texting with people and playing poker on her phone. The Devil's Nest was open, but cover was double for guys tonight. Because she could.

When Sookie wandered up to work today, she was first mostly baffled by the sign.

That, of course, was nothing when she discovered the freezer. Out of a combination of curiosity and excitement, she ended up trying to make something diverse and interesting for the specials today.

And ended up making some pie to make herself feel a little better.

Alice was most emphatically not late, in arriving at Groovy Tunes. It was simply an illusion caused by your watch being set incorrectly, and not by her oversleeping this morning and dashing in at the last moment.

Cafe Fina, Tuesday Evening

Momoko wasn't avoiding talking to Jaime, she was just... still thinking. About the things that Dinah had said. And going over again (and again and again and again) the things Jaime had managed to say on Saturday before Momoko had walked away.

Okay, she was totally avoiding Jaime and thinking about it all.

And stuffing herself with as many pastries as the staff of the Cafe Fina (and her wallet) would allow her. She'd even bought a dinner salad, in case one of the staff decided to call Jaime and tell on her.

She wondered, as she'd ordered it, if he would have come and chided her about the sweets. The face that she made got her a flustered look from the Cheese Grater, who rushed back to the kitchen to put in an order for another Chocolate Raspberry Torte for her.
