There were set to be new arrivals this weekend so Fraser was busily prepping the apartments for new residents. He'd hung a welcome sign outside, tasked a few local townspeople to clean the pool outside and was getting lease and rental paperwork ready to be filled out should anyone need an apartment in the next few days.

Dief was not helping at all. He was curled up in one of the lobby chairs, watching all the happenings and occasionally trying to get one of the people helping Fraser to give him some food. He hadn't yet been successful.

Cabot & Assoc., Thursday, 6/30

Jack couldn't find his focus today. He fluttered from this to that -- now doing some research for Ms. Cabot, now playing pointless online games, now composing emails to friends from university to explain where he'd scampered off to for the summer.

Eventually he gave up, sighed, and began to devote his afternoon to a sustained program of drinking coffee and staring out the window. Some days just weren't made for work.

Anakin was in his office this Thursday, but not his usual one up at the school. Today he was decorating his desk with new pictures of Rory, Juliet, Luke and Leia and trying to get one of the clones to unpack the boxes of pamphlets (ranging from "Help! I Have a Sentient Vegetable Attacking Me!" to "Can You Arrest the Guy Who Will One Day be My Archnemesis?") that arrived in the mail today.

At least the coffee was good today.

The police station is open for your crime fighting convenience.

Caritas; Thursday Night

Chuck dragged his chair to a new spot behind the bar when he got into work, right next to the beer taps. He had developed a liking for it since he had been re-allowed to drink again and decided this was the most convenient place to sit during his shift. Tino didn't seem to have any complaints, since it beat being Chuck's beer bitch all night.
