Bod liked this sort of weather. Yes, he was cold too and he would have preferred it maybe a few degrees warmer but he liked the crisp bite of cold weather upon first stepping outside and he liked the way things looked so calm and serene when they were covered by snow. And right now, he liked being inside a warm building, enjoying himself by helping prep the food for today and cleaning up the dining area before the diner was opened up.

Seifer was having an awesome day. He had the heat cranked up so the store was nice and toasty, while reggae and island music cycled through the sound system. The blond was kicked back in a lounge chair, a nice cool drink at hand, a good book nearby, and a small fan blowing a slight breeze around him.

Really, all that was missing was, you know, actual sun and sand and ocean to make this a beach vacation.

And if he happened to be catching a nap while working, well... no one would see his eyes closed behind the dark sunglasses he was wearing. Plus, he had left out plenty of cool drinks for the squirrels to enjoy as well.

Harper figured that people had enough hats to last for a while, but there was still so much warm clothing she could sell them. She went through the backroom and pulled out all the sweaters she could find, even the ugly ones. They were still warm, and sweaters were the easiest things to re-purpose into mittens.

Still with the snow and the cold. This sucked. By way of dealing, Jessica was making fruity tropical drinks with little umbrellas in them for anyone who might venture into the bar.

Even the beer had umbrellas.

Yes, even her TruBlood had an umbrella.
