Fixer Uppers; Monday [ 08/22 ].

Today, Butters decided, was the day to start a well overdue project. Granted, he expected his parents to show up to take him back home to Colorado any day now; school would be starting over at Park County High School, but he didn't know if he was quite ready to return to the snow and the sociopath fat asses and the groundings and the people trying to kill him. He might not have a choice, though, and so that gave him about a week to leave a legacy...

A legacy, perhaps...of chaos!

And so it was Butters with a big box of tin foil, hard at work at the counter today, and trying to be oh-so-secretive about his intentions.

The Gig -- Monday Afternoon

With classes out for the week, Angelica came in earlier than normal to the Gig. Taking care of the horses wasn't really a job for her since she enjoyed it so much. And nothing bad had happened with them, so she was starting to feel relieved that what had happened with Butter Rum had been a freak accident, probably due to the spike in her emotions at her first kiss and then Emma being upset with her.

She let the horses out so she could clean out the stables, then joined them outside to take each one riding in turn. It was a nice day, so she started to think about practicing flying when she was done for the day. She didn't want Emma to get upset with her if she let her powers get rusty while she was in Fandom.

The Magic Box, Monday

It was Alex's last shift at the Magic Box and she wasn't sure what to do with herself. She was trying not to think about that. Instead, she was trying to find something to keep herself busy. She'd opened up the shop early and checked out the back room for any new supplies that might have been delivered late last week.

Alex had spied a couple of books in the back that she hadn't looked through before. She brought them to the front with her, thinking there might be some spells she could learn before having to head home at the end of the week.

It was worth a shot.

It was probably sad how routine this was. The delivery guy dropped off a crate. Jake asked if it was actually bar-related supplies this time. The delivery guy shrugged. Jake signed for it, opened the crate, and inevitably found out that no, it wasn't anything that belonged in a bar.

Today? Animal feed. Well, maybe the woman who ran the horse stables in town would be interested in it. For now, Jake was just going to pile it all in a corner. And make Tino sweep up the one bag that burst open all over the floor.

Cafe Luke's, Monday

Summer was starting to draw to a close, which meant Vincent felt the need to get in as many good summer fruits and vegetables as possible. What good was having a giant zucchini if he wasn't using the giant zucchini?

Jack was behind the bar, where he had proudly put up his very own sign: HALF PRICE DRINKS IF IT'S YOUR LAST WEEK ON THE ISLAND.

Hopefully no one would take him up on it!

Tiny was not getting involved, but he would tattle to Eric if they took too hard a dip into the profits and that would be coming out of Jack's salary and not his, thank you so much

Cabot and Associates, Monday

Momoko was TOTALLY in the office on time despite her Mun's forgetfullness! Of course she was. It was her last shift! EVER! Where else would she be?

She spent much of her day typing up the last of her research notes, tidying her desk, making sure all the plants were watered, changing the paper in the copy machine, putting reference books away, sorting the mail... And finally, setting her resignation letter in Ms Cabot's inbox.

Ms Cabot had been an awesome teacher and boss, Momoko was totally going to miss working for her.
