There were a whole bunch of logs on a pallet in the hotel lobby this morning. Quinn was choosing to ignore them and hope they weren't full of spiders.

Nobody was coming for her. Her mom had to work, her sister and her stupid husband were on vacation, and her dad, well, who knew what he was doing? Quinn told herself that she wasn't even sure she wanted to. She channeled her abandonment issues into being especially persnickety about the hotel's linen order for the weekend.

Really, William knew full well that he'd not be getting any visitors this weekend. Any family he had hadn't been in contact for years, and there was no reason anyone at the orphanage would make a special trip just for one ex-resident. Still, understanding and accepting this the rest of the year was a far easier task than doing so in the week leading up to this particular weekend. So he was keeping himself busy today sorting a box of parts into useable, not useable, and needs work. A bit tedious, maybe, but it needed doing and it kept him busy, so why not?

Lion-o was breathing a sigh of relief after getting a letter from home. Tygra and Cheetara had discussed coming to visit him this weekend, but their plans had changed after Cheetara suffered an injury. Lion-o felt bad for her. Still, he happy to avoid any awkward moments. He always seemed to feel nervous around her, as the rest of the kitchen staff quickly figured out when they asked if he would have any visitors. They spent the whole day teasing him about it.

Nathan was a little late getting into work tonight which meant he didn't have much time to joke on Tino because he had to open shit up, poor booze and get a nice buzz started. Tino seemed just fine with this and mostly stayed out of Nathan's way. Any day where he didn't get hit with bottle caps or glasses was a good day for Tino.

Nathan was actually distracted by this weekend and what he and Kelly could do to get into trouble. They were gonna have to get trashed somewhere and he kind of wanted to see Kelly punch the shit out of someone. He figured he'd just make it so someone bumped into her and she got pissed.

Easy as pie.
