Glitter encrusted moosen stood guard in the entry to the transformed Town Hall, reminding all those in attendance that the night was about all things Canadian. Or things the Student Council had deemed Canadian - plus a whole lot of glitter.

Sparkly red maple leaves and paper geese hung from irridescent streamers, setting off the food tables as very much separate from the raised dance floor in case the terrifying papier-mâché beaver didn't make it obvious that the timbits were for eating. Or for dunking in the maple syrup fountain. Beyond pure sugar, there were plenty of bite-size portioned food and nonalcoholic beverages to push the theme into the bellies of all, no matter how tight the dresses!

Beyond the dance floor, the shadowy corners glowed with the twinkle of glittery maple leaf garland and a Joni Mitchell inspired moose that had been strategically positioned to look rather tragic in its lyric-covered glory. Yes, glory. For the evening was to be glorious. Or at the very least entertaining.

Stark Industries | Saturday

It was unlikely that anyone would actually manage to make a purchase at Stark Industries today. That was because Topher, in all his professionalism, was sniffling and making his way through an enormous tub of cookie dough fudge ice cream with no signs of stopping anytime soon.

There may or may not have been a sad romance movie playing on his laptop. Maybe. In any case, it only made him eat more ice cream.

Stark Industries was open!

Dite's Decadent Delights, Sarurday Afternoon

The giant, nameless cock was still standing outside of 'Dite's. Karla had come by earlier in the day to wrap a scarf in Fandom's colors around it and add a sign that said "WELCOME HOME ALUMNI!" Then she'd set up Mini-Morton behind the counter--it was Homecoming and better for everyone to be prepared for the activities that came after the dance as well.

There was another sign on the counter next to Little Strife: All contraceptives and lube 15% off today! Let's keep future babies to Fandom whimsy, okay?

Though Ice Cream had managed to make it's way into Fae culture, Faerie was still sadly lacking in pizza. So Leda took this opportunity to indulge in something she hadn't had in months. Gooey, delicious, deep dish.

With all of her chores done for the day, Dani was reading her tabloids while the horses grazed in the paddock. She might have spent more time plotting to get to San Diego while Prince Harry was in the country. "Get a look at this girl they said he went out with," she said, holding up the page for Kally and Smudge. "Don't you think I'd make a better princess than her?" Smudge didn't seem to care, but Kally leaned over the fence and took a bite out of the page.

The Gig was open. Will somebody please stop Dani before she gets carried away?

The Arms Hotel Lobby, Saturday

Mary had given Gunther the day off so the lobby was thankfully quieter than yesterday. However, there were a lot of noise complaints from people staying on the first floor near Gunther's room. Mary ended up moving a lot of them to higher floors and making a note to encourage Gunther to get his own place outside the hotel.
