Dolf was pretty sure someone had messed with his radio. That, or he was hallucinating. Here he'd been, listening to the Dutch national speed skating championships (distances edition), and wibbling about Ireen Wust's two bronze medals (what had happened to you, Wust?) when suddenly...

... he heard the familiar voice of the famous, distinguished Dutch singer of corny tearjerkers, Corry Konings, singing about... the joys of ladies of the night.

And not so delicately, either.

He was certain he'd heard wrong, except afterwards the presenter chirped about Corry, and how she was doing a song for some Dutch movie, and this came from the soundtrack, and...

... and then they played some audio from the movie, and Dolf relaxed.

Apu eyed him funny.

He shrugged. "Southerners," he said, and trundled back to the counter.

Today's Squishy flavors: Zebra, Grape Judas, Red.

[[ open, no OCD. Guess who had some teacups all over the newsroom playing this song loudly at the same time yesterday... gah, obscene earworm. (link NWS... if you work with people who speak Dutch. NOT, AGAIN, THAT THIS STOPPED MY TEACUPS. ) ]]

Mitchell had been gone for two weeks, and, well. The other investors had made good work of that time. The building was now covered in ads for the current feature, urging people to bring their kids in for a rollicking adventure.

Looking good had never looked this good!

Or this appalled, as Mitchell arrived fresh off his portal and found himself staring.

"This had better be someone's idea of a prank."

NOW SHOWING:
Kit in Mukluk

Mitchell just knew this would end in a headache before the end of the day.

Firekeeper tended to pay as little attention to things like 'the passage of time' as possible, so really, she was entirely unaware of the whole idea of 'falling back'.

Luckily, the horses weren't really concerned with timekeeping either, so none of them really had much to say when Firekeeper and Blind Seer ended up showing up for their shift a little earlier than usual.

Seifer had missed work on Friday, but he'd had a good excuse. He had been studying for the SATs. He thought he'd done okay on it, but he was worried about the Critical Reading section.

And unlike some people he'd heard about on the radio, he had kicked ass on the math part.

Today he was at Groovy Tunes, going through college websites online and printing off the applications of the ones that looked interested.

He might as well be prepared for when the test scores came in, right?

Jon had spent most of last week and this past weekend kicked back in his apartment, playing videos games and watching football, while eating pizza and drinking beer.

Basically, being a guy on vacation. Which was totally why he was in Fandom, but not really.

Today, he actually opened the store, and was reading through some fishing magazines while country music played on the radio, while a very bored looking eastern box turtle on the counter, munching on strawberries.

Zayne walked into the restaurant an hour early. None of the droids were doing anything. It wasn't until he was running diagnostics on one of the cooking droids that Gigi mentioned the whole "fall back" thing. Zayne was going to have to get used to that again....

Today's Special:
Something made an hour before you showed up

That didn't seem very reasonable.

[OOC: While Zayne was early, I am late. And without OCD. I spent all afternoon doing laundry and napping. I don't have more creativity in me right now.]
