Occasionally, Cable liked to do work that wasn't shady manipulation of events behind the scenes wasting his days on town paperwork at town hall. Which meant that today he was back at Wellspring, setting up a toy target on the far end of the shop.

Jan was of an Age now, and she now owned a nerf gun. It was time to start practicing.

That didn't mean the Open sign wasn't on the door, of course. But it did mean that any would-be customers might have to duck.

The sorority girls had been directed to gather in the gym today, where they were herded into a classroom and instructed to pick up a yoga mat. Some fruit, vegetables, cheese and crackers were set out on a table along the back wall for snacks

"It's been a busy couple of weeks," Quinn said, once everyone was on a mat. "Homecoming, Halloween, the SATs ... so today, we're going to take it easy with a yoga class."

Yoga wasn't exactly a trend in World War I Canada, so Rilla was dressed as appropriately as she could be, which meant she'd taken her boots off but was still in a dress. "This is supposed to bring clarity and...bendiness, I suppose, to us," she said, sounding a little dubious. "And trying new things is always fun, right?"

"It's a nice workout," Quinn promised, tweaking her ponytail. "If you really can't do it or don't want to, get a snack and hang out."

And with that she stepped back so the yoga teacher could lead the class.

Namaste.

Well, the new equipment had finally all arrived at the Boards, and it was safe to say that Jono was even a touch excited about it. Hardly 'a kid on Christmas morning' levels of excitement. He seldom had that much in him to spare, really. But he was at least nearly smiling a bit as he worked on getting the soundboard hooked up in the booth, and then proceeded to make his way up onto the catwalks to make certain that the lights and microphones were all connected properly, as well.

It was another Pearl Jam day, but if anyone asked, Jonothon was going to tell them that he was simply using their music in order to iron out the kinks in the system.

Wouldn't you?

It was bad enough that Mary still couldn't get into any of the rooms on the fifth floor. She decided that it wasn't a top priority since there were plenty of other rooms available. It wasn't like the hotel was fully booked at the moment.

Right now, figuring out what was wrong with the hotel's laundry equipment was a much bigger problem. The washers would not open, the dryers would not start, and the dirty sheets kept piling up. With no solutions to her problems in sight, Mary realized it was going to be a long week.

Today seemed like a good day for Our Lady Peace. Today seemed like a good day for busying herself with making sure the CDs were all organized and not ... out of order or ... something. Okay. Good.

George was here. But if you wanted to talk to her, you'd have to go talk to her. She was going to pretend not to see people if they wandered in, unless they actually approached her and asked questions.

Being anti-social was all part of the mystique of being a record store employee. Really.

It was definitely too early to be thinking of holiday shopping. But with the commercials and stores already decorated, Raven couldn't help it. Besides, it took time to find good gifts!

So her idea of productivity for the day was surfing the web and starting to make her holiday gift list, while listening to somewhat thematically-appropriate music.

So...turned out that when Jack turned the clock back, he'd also turned the clock off.

At least he thought he was on time to work?

He also thought it was Monday, so Jack was perhaps not the most reliable narrator.

The Devil's Nest was open. And confused.
