Firekeeper had long ago learned not to question certain of Fandom's... oddities. So when she arrived at the Gig to find Duke wearing a top hat, and a long purple scarf draped around Kally's neck, she didn't ask. And none of the horses offered an explanation, either.

She looked up in surprise as Blind Seer sneezed, and he looked back at her, his expression equally surprised at having found a pile of sand in a corner of the barn. Blue sand.

Nana had been weirdly restless lately, as if something - or someone - was calling to her. Normally Dolf wouldn't oppose anything that got the dog's attention off of... well, him, except that it meant that she spent rather a lot of time suddenly jumping to attention in doorways or barking at windows or...

Well, in this case, running up and down one of the aisles, nearly bowling over the panda and leaving fur all over the floor. Oh, and howling at the eggs. Howling loudly.

"Look, it's not my fault," Dolf tried to explain desperately to Apu. "All I want to do is do research peacefully! But she keeps being crazy."

Apu just sighed.

Zayne was at a table toward the front of the restaurant today with a day planner. Not anything fancy from his galaxy. Just a $3 thing from the store to help him plan out what he had to do and where each day with his three jobs in Fandom (plus a couple in his galaxy).

That's what happens when you want to be a Jedi your whole life but don't take the job when it's eventually offered. You end up doing EVERYTHING instead.

With the holidays over and new students in town, Susan was ready for the possibility of having to explain to new people that no, they were not getting in past her and yes, they really did have to present ID, and yes she really did take her job that seriously.

Until anyone arrived, though, she had a book to read. This was not the ideal setting for it, but she'd deal.

After coming in to open the shop and do everything he needed to do, Butters settled behind the counter with a tool kit and an old radio and some old parts and went about tinkering here and there. He was doing pretty well, considering that the radio went from being pretty dead to at least getting static, but when he managed to hook up some pieces from an old transistor radio, then he was really in business.

"Do do do do do!" he sang into the mic. "It's the Big Texas Butters Show, and here's your host, Big Texas Butters! Happy Traaaaaaails to you!"

....Guess who missed doing radio.
