Book Haven [Tuesday, 1/10]

Cassidy got to the store early so that she could make sure that everything was in its correct place. When she was satisfied with that. she returned to the front coounter. After making sure there was enough space and that nothing would get in the way, she called in a teapot and a few cups.

It was cold out and so there was going to be tea at Book Haven today.

She thought that this was a very good idea.

Pirate Radio Station [afternoon]

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me," Jack sang under his breath as he wandered aimlessly through the station.

That song wasn't playing right now, but that had never really stopped Jack from singing before. He stopped at the small desk where the squirrels dropped notes off and began replenishing the rum bottles with a new (if slightly watered-down) stock of booze.

At no point did Jack find any of these activities strange. It probably meant he'd been here too long.

Cafe Luke's, Tuesday

It wasn't Hayley's first day at Luke's, per se, but it was the first day she was granted the spot of lead server. The staff found Hayley nice enough, if a bit off kilter.

Troy had totally planned to do some actual work today, but having thrown Petey Sci-Fi into his laptop for background noise, he'd instead gotten distracted and was watching it instead.

And singing along. At the top of his lungs. As one does.

If anyone needed him, he'd be dancing around the office, begging for someone to touch him.

Caritas- Saturday

With Saturday's party having been a hungover success, Kitty was spending her free time behind the bar tonight trying to jot down ideas for future events. If there weren't many ways for adults to socialize here, why not create some?

It'd be easier if she could come up with things, though...

The Docks [early evening]

Jack had traded the radio station away for a bottle of rum and was now aboard someone else's his ship because finders keepers, staring off into the sunset.

"Hoist the mainsail!" he barked to his crew of three furry squirrels, who promptly ignored him. "Haul anchor!" He smiled softly. "Bring me that horizon."

Five minutes later, when he realized he wasn't moving from the docks, he did the hauling and hoisting himself and set off for seas unexplored.
