After a nice, quiet week, Zayne was doing a little bit of training in the lobby. As he sat on the office counter, he was using the Force to lift and spin his lit lightsaber around the lobby when nobody was around. He figured that if nobody was around, then he wasn't likely to accidentally chop any limbs off.

And, you know, he could afford replacement furniture for the lobby if it came to that.

... As Zayne was in the middle of this he realized that it was probably a good thing he had full occupancy at the moment and didn't need to bring people in.

The weather today wasn't the best, but it wasn't horrible either. And since most of island was gone on Spring Break (boy did he miss spring break, maybe he'd head down to Mexico for a week or two soon...), opening the shop was mostly routine. So Jon was across the street from the shop, fishing. He wasn't catching anything, and he could probably blame that on the nanny squid, but he had to try out the new merchandise somehow.

Today was, technically, Jono's day to work in the office at the Boards. But, with most of the island away enjoying tropical weather elsewhere, he hardly saw any point in sitting indoors staring at paperwork, accomplishing a great deal of nothing in particular.

At least, not when he could sit indoors and caffeinate himself with whatever happened to be the first thing that caught his eye. In the small sizes, of course, so that he could go back for seconds of a different flavour, and then thirds. He had a system, so help him, and he was going to get a feel for what he did and didn't like if it killed him.

... Considering the face that he made after sampling the salted caramel mocha, and the fact that he needed a moment to recover before he could get back to carefully sipping his way through the cup, it was entirely possible that it might kill him.

[Open, because it's Saturday, I'm at home, and I'm bored. Hiii.]

It had been a little less than a week since Bruce had "landed" in Auburn, Maine. Since then he had gotten wrapped up in a small bit of drama involving a heiress and an intricate plot to poison her by her evil stepmother and inherit her late father's estate.

Luckily the man who had picked up Bruce at the side of the road was also the handy-man to the estate who brought Bruce in and-

Well let's just say that even though the Hulk had shown up a couple of times the girl was saved and now Bruce was on his own again. Walking the roads of Maryland with piano accompaniment and trying to find a place to hide and be safe.

And as he was walking down these roads, Bruce noted something unusual. A causeway. And an island. Frowning a bit, he took out an atlas and pulled it open and confirmed that yes, this place was not on the map.

Well... anything off the map was probably a good place to hide right?

Ten minutes later? Bruce was on the island.

"Looks normal enough," Bruce said aloud as he stepped off the causeway.

Oh. Oh Bruce. Silly old Bruce.

[Yep. Open. Yes, it's late. Whatever.]
