Turtle and Canary, Tuesday

It was turning out to be a fairly easy day at work. Between organizing a few displays and directing a few customers to the aisles they were looking for, Frank was feeling pretty productive by around midday.

Then some little kid knocked an entire display over, so so much for sitting around looking smug.

Ugh, cleaning.

There wasn't a lot going on today for Sam. There weren't any new skateboards to repair so he was leaving what he did have for later. There was some stock to be ordered so he had a clipboard, a catalog and a pencil out so he could get on that.

There was rock music coming from the speakers in the store and the front door was propped open to let in the warm air.

Dite's Decadent Delights, Tuesday Afternoon

Emma had opened a shipment today that, well, someone was going to be giggling, and possibly purchasing a few just to make other people flail. One of each flavor for the house, of course, because it was her responsibility to make sure they were satisfactory, and set one aside for Kenzi as well.

One to send Karla, and another one for the Coven, because she was rather sure she'd be able to hear the shrieks of glee all the way on Fandom. And, of course, because she was Emma, she managed to find something special to slip around the base before boxing them up and addressing the package to SaDiablo Hall.

With that accomplished, "For Oral Consumption, Not Physical Consummation!" was neatly printed on a little card on the display she was arranging, and Emma was doing her best to try and resist ordering more. Today. She'd do it on Thursday after the store had gotten a few reviews.

Dite's Decadent Delights is open, and Auntie Emma has a snack for you.

The Arms Hotel Lobby, Tuesday

The fruit bowl at the front desk was filled with mangoes today. Mary did a double-take when she walked past because she didn't remember buying any mangoes. She kept asking around to see who had brought them, but none of the staff claimed responsibility for. And when Mary tried to forget the mangoes and move on, she kept getting distracted. How was anyone supposed to take a mango from the fruit bowl and eat it?

Stark Repairs, Tuesday, 5/29

In place of the usual mess of tools and wires, one of the workbenches at Stark today was covered with ... Legos. Lots and lots of superhero-themed Legos.

Victor took approximately half a second to consider whether that might be a prank before he went to work, trying to build the Ratcave to look exactly like the picture on the box. It counted as a repair job, right?

The Devil's Nest, Tuesday

The long weekend theme seemed to still be rolling on at the Devil's Nest, where tonight's DJ was playing a lot of country songs about drinking beer in Mexico and whatnot. Anna didn't really know any of them, but then, that was something of a theme.

Anna was standing at the door, wearing the plastic lei Tiny had given her when she showed up.
