Ben had bolted early from the wee portable saunas the tents had become in this weather to bask in the air conditioning of his job. He wasn't draped over the vent (...any more...): instead he was tinkering with his datapad, looking for things to do on Naboo when he and Ender headed there in a few days.

Mmm, vacation.

Everything had been shipped out earlier in the week, and all Seifer had with him was a small duffel bag. He had stopped at Groovy Tunes and left behind the keys, and now he was headed to the causeway. He could have taken a portal, but really, he didn't trust it completely still and he wanted to take the weekend getting to school.

He was actually going to miss this place, now that he was leaving.

As far as Kitty was concerned, it was officially too hot to do anything. And since she'd run the air conditioner so much that it was starting to make scary noises, she'd decided to give it a break and go somewhere else for a while.

So hello to the place with air conditioning and iced coffee! She found a seat, opened her laptop, and decided she'd stay for as long as it took her to finish her drink. Which was why she wasn't even touching it yet.

It was Louisiana hot outside tonight. As Eric wasn't in Louisiana, he was a little annoyed by this.

He was slightly less annoyed when he arrived at the bar to discover that the DJ and Tiny had declared tonight "Shirts Optional Friday."
