When the opportunity came to hang out with your alternate universe de-aged ex-teammate before he left the island, you took it. Kitty got to the boardwalk early, figuring she could use a little bit of time to check the place out since she'd somehow never been here yet, and also because any time spent out of her apartment was a good distraction. (Shut up.)

Plus she'd been able to figure out that there were funnel cakes and ice cream here. Because you couldn't deprive Iceman of his ice cream, come on.

Chilly Boulder [early afternoon, Wednesday]

When Ben walked into Chilly Boulder, the staff immediately stopped their gossiping about Tino and the barista girl (because everyone was talking about that, you know) and looked sad.

"Come on, guys," Ben wheedled. "Your profits aren't going to take that much of a hit when I leave."

They told him that he was wrong, then made an obscenely enormous sundae for him that they insisted was called the Ben. The price tag on it, they hoped, would mitigate the loss of Ben's departure from the island.

Ben laughed and sat down at a table. It was going to take all day to eat this much ice cream.

Cafe Luke's, Wednesday

Lion-o took a break from packing for one last shift at Luke's. After all, he wanted to have just one more burger to remember the place. Well, okay, maybe one more after that since he practically inhaled the first one.

Hanna got to work setting up a new shoe display when she arrived at the store. Or at least she tried. She was having a major crisis: the Louboutins or the Blahniks in the center of the display? It was the equivalent, to her, of having to choose between children.

It was the only drama in her life right now. She gladly accepted that.

It was only week two of employment and Derek was already engaged in a game of psychological warfare with the club's DJ. So maybe the man was just too dim to function and engaging in some poor life choices in regards to the new guy. But still.

No one needed to play dub step that much when there wasn't even a fight going on.
