Mary wasn't expecting any visitors of her own this weekend, but she was still in a pretty good mood. She was looking forward to seeing new guests arrive for the weekend -- especially the single, available guests.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel.
Today's Specials:
Chicken Marsala
Spaghetti with Tapenade Sauce
Chocolate Tiramisu

Rooms are still available for this weekend!

Yes, Alec had a guest at the picnic, and yes, he was really excited to see her, but he had to make it through his work shift before he could do that.

It involved a lot of cleaning and polishing things, because that was about as close as he got to jittering without actually being that guy.

There was a neatly printed sign on the front door of the Devil's Nest tonight:

DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOUR RELATIVES SUCK. IF YOU'RE NOT 21, YOU'RE NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL HERE.
--The Management.

Tiny was behind the bar and Eric was hiding in his usual spot in the VIP section, texting rapidly to Pam (who was trying to explain why she wasn't coming this weekend). Like...finger-blurringly rapidly. That's normal, right?

If you really wanted to put Kitty in a good mood, reunite her with her little purple alien shoulder-size dragon friend who would be around at some point. Since there were a bunch of new people around, she figured it couldn't hurt to go in to work and make sure she was around in case people wanted to have drinks and catch up, or in case people needed to hide/drink heavily.

1/2 OFF DRINKS
Because I'm the boss and I say so

See, good mood. Dragon!

Hope was spending her day in a different manner than she usually spent her work days. Instead of sitting behind the counter with a magazine, she was... helpfully telling Apu how to coax out a gremlin -- or what she thought was one, anyway -- from behind a display while sitting behind the counter with a magazine. She wasn't actually reading, though she had been before she'd seen the gremlin dart behind the display.

"Maybe if we leave it alone, it'll go away..." she suggested, unhelpfully.

Today's Squishy flavors: Gremlin Green, Confusion Cotton Candy, Blue Raspberry.

[OCD-free due to a case of the busy!]
