[identity profile] allie-vamp.livejournal.com
It had been two weeks since Allie had walked out through the gates of Eden and into the mob of rabids, katana slicing at an inhuman speed. Two weeks since she'd left behind Zeke and Caleb and the few humans she could almost call friends. Eden wasn't the place for a vampire, Allie knew that, yet it didn't stop her from sometimes wishing things could be different, that she and Zeke could have had more time together.

But Eden was lost to her and the only thing that mattered now was finding and rescuing Kanin. The last weird, psychic dream connection to her maker had been three nights earlier. Bound and helpless, the glowing tip of a poker rammed through her stomach, exploding out her back. The smell of blood and burned flesh misting in the air. Unfortunately it hadn't given her any clues as to where he could be. So she kept walking. It was the only thing she could do.

The light through the trees was the first thing the caught Allie's eye. Like the light from Eden's outpost it shone through the trees, beckoning Allie forward and across the narrow strip of land to the island.

She stopped as she stepped onto the island proper, shocked that despite the number of heartbeats she could hear, there were no guards, no barricades to stop the rabids from entering the island.

For one night, Kanin could wait. Allie needed to understand what was going on. Was this some other Eden?

[Yay! New character! Open post is open!]

She had not been expecting to simply...roll in.

One moment she had more sand on her than she was comfortable to admit, and the next...well, the sand was still there, but everything else was just not. The place looked clean? Green? Strange? Yes, those all were things that probably fit the description of what Fandom Island was, but there was another adjective she was missing for a moment before suddenly realizing which one it was.

Alive; Fandom Island was alive, in a way. Looking to her back, she half expected to see the desert, but a city greeted her eyes. Alive too, it seemed. Not home apparently. "Huh." Yeah Fandom, that's all she's going to give you for the amazement, at least for now.

So what was she supposed to do now? She didn't belong to the city -or the world- at her back, but it would be so easy to just turn back...and yet, she had decided to go to Fandom. If there was something Alice could define her life on it was consistence, otherwise she would have an even more nonsensical life.

So, mind made, she silent rolled into the island.

[[ooc: I KNOW WE'RE TUESDAY JEEZ. And she's in! This took way longer than initially planned but seeing as how RL is supposed to be kinder now. Can't complain. As she's no island this is up for broadcast, and it's totally open. A last minute obligation is going to make me really slow for the next hours though, but SP is love ♥

Also it should probably go here >.>
