Whenever she had some free time today, Jessica got back to working on her tracker devices. Of course, since she was trying to make it signal her spider-sense, it led to constant jumping and flinching as she worked on getting the settings juuuuuuust right. There was a reason she wasn't working on it when anyone was in the shop.

Still, there was maybe a little too much jumping around for the moment, so she changed the signal to be tracked by her cell phone instead of by a low-level precognitive ability that she didn't fully understand. Probably a good idea.

Despite all the quiet Alice had been thoroughly enjoying (save the times when the residents of the island decided to lose their minds spectacularly, or something invaded them), Alice had no intention to fall into laziness and risk losing her well too honed survival skills. And what was the first thing you had to be proficient when it came to survival?

Running.

So there she was, rain or snow or post-election thrills (not hers, at least), sprinting around the island. She wasn't sure of how much she would run, but a couple of runs around the island's perimeter sounded like a good start. Because normal people ran that much, yes. A good run, a good shower, and maybe she should take a crossbow and shoot some arrows later that day. It was, as far as Alice could say, a pretty perfect day.

[[ ooc: Establishy in the sense that she's going to do just as she has planned, but open to interactions if anyone felt like running around or something. ]]

Okay, look. Contrary to popular belief, April didn't actually feel completely apathetic about everything. She liked some things. Like violent movies. And doing her nails. And booze. And her dog, Cliff. And human rights. You know, stuff like that.

What that meant on this particular afternoon was that April was in a pretty good mood as she took Cliff through the park. It also meant that her 'I Voted' sticker was still stuck to her jeans, since she'd been up ridiculously late last night watching TV and hadn't noticed yet.

Whatever. Cliff wasn't judging, neither should you.

After missing last week's shift due to a ridiculous party, Derek was oddly happy to be at work. Okay, so 'happy' might be too strong a word here. 'Less pissed off' worked better.

Yes.

It was progress, okay? Progress.
