Somebody had brought in an Apple Computer for Jessica to fix today, but when she went to get tools to take all of the damn screws out of the thing, she had to dig through a drawer full of apple slices.

Some AI apparently thought he was funny.

Shira felt slightly better than death warmed over. Damnable chest cold that she couldn't seem to get rid of, even with the potions and blends she'd made herself over the past few days. Maybe she'd go find Karla later, see if she could help. Or maybe she'd just go back to the dorm after work and go back to bed. Either one would work.

But at least she wasn't coughing anymore, something she counted as a good thing considering it was Wednesday and that meant work.

She moved around the shop slowly, putting things away and not doing too much dusting because the dusting made her cough. She'd be extra diligent about it next week, she promised herself.

It was a completely normal day at the bar tonight. The DJ was playing a mix of dance songs that didn't offend, Tiny was at the door, Derek was behind the bar and not glaring at everyone.
