So far during her shift, Jaina had been finding that fake plastic grass stuff in everything. Glasses, bowls, the cash register, you name it.

"Come on, I was just in here last night and there was none of this stuff around," Jaina complained, shaking grass out of a glass.

Tiny just shrugged, and Jaina handed him a few to go rinse out.

Coulson had heard about the new mayor/owner and the name change. He even understood that with Cable gone, actually selling guns might happen. But the change that Coulson found strangest was the wooden eagle at the entrance. It would take some getting used to.

But regardless of what else changed, Coulson was still there. And he was still keeping his own secret notes on inventory, who he sold what to, and so on. Coulson was consistent. He was also here to help you. For freedom. And for arms.

One of the kitchen staff had apparently hidden brightly colored eggs of varied sizes all over the diner. Priestly was hoping they were all candy or plastic, since no way was he turning up the A/C to keep any real eggs lying around refrigerated.

The same intrepid staffer, Priestly was guessing, had lined up peep armies on the counter top, a mass of pink and blue bunnies armed with toothpicks and flat ware, facing off against the ducks, wearing salt and pepper shaker helmets, crowded around what appeared to be a catapult constructed entirely out of napkin rings and milk foamers. Priestly was keeping a close eye on them to make sure they didn't come alive and actually start attacking each other.

Just think of the marshmallow carnage if they did.

There was no overabundance of plastic grass in Caritas, but truthfully, Jake would've taken that over what had happened.

Namely that all of the booze was now pastel coloured.

Look, green beer on St Paddy's was bad enough. Jake just did not trust pale pink beer, okay. It was just wrong.
