Theo had found the boardwalk. He'd been looking for a good place to skateboard since getting to the island and finally, finally, he'd found it. It wasn't the same as the boardwalk in Santa Monica that he tended to go to but it was close.

Theo brushed his hair back with his fingers and pulled his cap on, getting his unruly hair out of his face before he dropped the board on the ground. He kicked off and started skating, feeling almost like he was right back at home.

"Jump the rail," Dev said, trying to push Theo into doing something he probably shouldn't be doing. "It'll be impressive! Everybody will be impressed!"

"There's no one around for Theo to impress, Dev," Ange said, frowning. "It's just going to get him hurt."

"It will not," Dev argued. "Theo knows what he's doing, he's an expert at this! Did you see how effortlessly he got on the skateboard?"

Ange rubbed her forehead in a very long suffering way. "This is only going to end badly. Please don't do it, Theo. Remember what happened last time. It didn't end well that time either. People laughed. Theo, don't."

"DO IT, THEO!!!"

Guess what Theo chose to do? He built up a lot of speed and jumped the board in an attempt to grind against the rail....but he didn't quite make it. The jump wasn't high enough which meant Theo went gut first into the rail and tumbled over it with a muffled shout.

...so, he was just going to lay there on the ground having had the wind completely knocked out of him. He really needed to stop listening to Dev. And yet, he knew he'd never stop listening to Dev. Oh well.

[Open post. Feel free to have seen Theo be an idiot or find him on the ground or whatever]

Tonight's music seemed to be television and cartoon theme songs.

Jaina had no idea how that was supposed to be okay for a bar like this, but at least the songs tended to be about thirty seconds and then they were over. She'd take what she could get at this point, even if she didn't think anyone in their right mind would be on the dance floor with this.

Also she was wondering what the hell a Snork was, but she didn't actually want you to tell her.

With Coulson's time in Fandom winding down for a big new mission, he was taking an inventory of the most ridiculous weapons in the store, just in case they ever made their way out of Fandom and into his world. It wasn't likely to be an issue, but he still liked being prepared.

This list was a personal list, of course. He wasn't stealing weapons designs for SHIELD. SHIELD could come up with those without any encouragement.

Look, as far as Jake was concerned, hockey was over, barring the traditional Booing of the Commissioner.

Instead he was focusing on checking Twitter for news about the Argos. Maybe a little *too* focused.

She didn't do it for the same reasons that she used to before coming to Fandom, but wandering around at night was now a habit that Éponine frankly couldn't be bothered to break. Yes, even on nights when it looked like there might be thunderstorms -- she came from Paris, so she was used to spontaneous bursts of rain.

It wasn't always literal wandering, though. Case in point tonight: upon arriving at the park she'd sprawled out in the grass, not caring if it was damp, just staring up at the sky. She was, as almost always, singing to herself -- and you could tell she'd been in Fandom for a while by the way the tidbits of song were a mixture of popular music hall numbers of her time and incredibly vapid but catchy modern pop tunes. It was an interesting combination.

[OOC: All this impulse to play this week is freaking me out (seriously I don't know where this came from), but open!]
