Parents' Weekend Brunch, Sunday Morning to Afternoon, The Park

It was mostly sunny and still warm, at least for an October day. Basically, perfect weather for a big old group meal in the park. Plenty of food and drink was set up, as was plenty of seating for everyone who might possibly show up.

Parents and family, this was your last big event here this weekend. Go ahead and make it count, because your kids will be trying to hide from you for the next year.

[OOC: Up super early because I haven't been able to sleep yet, which means I will eventually end up crashing until very late in the morning. And I'd rather post this early than late.]

Jaina showed up a little late today, because Jag had to catch a portal out and she wanted to spend as much time as possible with him before she didn't see him for probably months again. So she was sad about that, but the idea that she'd be going home again soon meant she wasn't too depressed.

Besides, the DJ kept playing variations on one song and annoyance was winning out tonight.

Having Cas around again was... nice. Yeah, nice was the word for it. Even if Priestly and his weird girlfriend had the completely wrong idea about everything.

And Dean had made it through this weekend, so he thought he deserved a burger for his troubles. If he was smarter, he'd know that the Winchester line never had anything end so easily.

Really now.

The Boards, Sunday

Drac's week had been... interesting. He wasn't going to talk about it.

He was happy to be out of his rooms, though, and flew his way quickly through the daylight and into the theatre through his office window, ready for the last rounds of discussion with Jonothon about the casting. He was actually pleased to find one of those sticky yellow pieces of note paper on his desk that read Final Draft Casting in what appeared to be a drunken, scrawly version of the director's handwriting. Underneath it was a folder that contained the former drafts of the cast list.
