Stiles had a restless night, so at first he wasn't phased by the fact he had to blink a few times in order to try to make out the words on his computer. But when the words on the screen were still a jumble a minute later he became more worried.

Maybe it was that weird thing that was going on. The weird Fandom thing. With the nose bleeds and the alternate universes. He was from an alternate universe where he couldn't read. Only problem was his nose wasn't bleeding. And the fact that he knew his nose should have been bleeding told him that this wasn't Fandom. Something else was wrong with him.

Well he wouldn't be getting much work done today.

Most of the ducks and all of the flamingos were asleep by now, but one intrepid mallard kept flapping his wings to incite Jack to throw him more crumbs.

And Jack, cozy on his bench with his thermos of warmed TruBlood and his bag of day-old bread, was happy to oblige. He hadn't given wildlife a moment's thought when he awoke as a wampyr in Paris, but after even a few years ... it was good to see an animal in action. He'd missed it.

He wondered idly if Sebastien remembered ducks at all. He'd need to ask the next time he visited him in Baltimore.

[OOC: Open post. Up early for SP and to keep me from flaking.]

Tiny was grumbling something about a Duke losing a bracket and ruining everything.

Allie didn't have a clue about whatever it was he was talking about and didn't really care anyway. The never-ending weirdness was on her mind instead.

A distraction would probably be welcome.

After severeal years in Fandom, Lucille was used to a lot of weird things happening. As you tended to be when you'd set off from New York in 1932 and ended up running a tavern in fifteenth century Germany.

But still, rounding a corner and ending up in a street she'd never seen before, in front of a building she didn't think she'd ever seen before? That was still new. She looked around, and she looked behind herself, and... Yes, everything was different.

"Oh my."

Fandom, please be gentle to the wide-eyed newcomer.

[ooc: Oooopen! Lucille here hails from Fandom in the 1400s.]

"Mommy really should've marked our path back to our home sweet home, hunh?" Mia nodded vigorously, clutching onto Kenzi's hand. "So, if we don't find our new place, we're gonna get a new new place!"

Right, maybe it was this left, up the stairs? ... why the hell did this place have to have SO MANY stairs?

[ooc: so, so open, since the warehouse district is a little more populated than usual this week.]

So, PSA: it was kind of terrifying to live for a week with an aggressively cheerful, smiley person when you were used to someone who was grumpy as hell. Like, seriously, Mike wasn't sure he could have handled another packed lunch or encouraging text message with smiley faces on it.

(You had things that freaked you out, and he had his, okay?)

TONIGHT'S SPECIALS

Yeah, that was what they were going for here tonight.

[ooc: No ocd because I don't feel like it, open post!]
