Another week, another planet it would seem. But it didn't seem to be any of the ones he knew about, so Tony was mostly just ignoring the weird... teddy bear forest planet.

Which was for the best.

He sifted through new ideas for the armor on the computer screen, trying to make it as compact as possible without giving up the protective value. This was proving to be difficult with the materials on hand. He may have to suck up his pride and see if T'Challa would be willing to loan him some raw materials to work with.

Being poor sucked.

Alluka was proud of herself as she made it to work--early!--on her ATs. She thought she was a little better than she'd been last week, though it was hard to tell.

Especially when she was still so sleepy.

Yesterday had been so, so fun.

But she was worn out from it.

Alluka and her newest friend, her little dapper octopus, made sure everything was neat and tidy around the store (with a stop to find a hat for her, so she could match her octopus) and then retreated to the counter to have tea and cookies.

Dani had spent the weekend exploring the latest destination at the end of the causeway. The moon of Endor had some interesting trails that could accommodate horses, and she couldn't get enough of seeing the walking teddy bears. If she had enough paying customers today, she was planning to lead them on an expedition through the woods.

The Gig was open!

Jack had to spend most of his shift on the phone with the bar's suppliers. Somehow, it was harder to get things delivered when your bar kept changing its location in the multiverse every week.

"Look, we can't stay open without vodka," he told the not-so-patient representative on the other end of the phone. "And if we can't stay open, we can't buy your products at all. So it'd save us all a lot of trouble if you found a way to get it to us." A pause. "I already promised to pay whatever the actual shipping and forwarding costs were. Plus -- you want how much extra a case? That's absurd. That'll almost double our costs."

Eventually he reached an agreement and hung up, wiping his forehead as he did. One down, two dozen to go.

Mary was sitting at the front desk, a jar of peanut butter in one hand, a spoon in the other. She sat there, eating spoonfuls of peanut butter and glaring at Gunther every time he walked past the front desk. She didn't say a word. When her spoon started scraping the bottom of the jar, Mary frowned and slammed the jar on the desk. That was Gunther's cue, and he came running with another jar. Mary took the full jar and resumed eating, a spoonful of peanut butter at a time.

It was one of those days.
