She was back in her usual suit today, which was a marked improvement over last week. It wasn't that Ino didn't like dressing up (she did!) but that she'd gotten so used to wearing the uniform that not wearing it was a little like being underdressed.

After checking on her current stock and putting more out, Ino puttered around at the front counter, working through notebooks and keeping track of which formulas were selling, which weren't, and which might be interesting to try next.

There were a couple of special orders that had come in, which pleased her, but she'd start dealing with them after the store had closed for the day.

 As if yesterday hadn't been enough, Lucille had to endure an excruciatingly painful music all day. Electric guitars. How could they be made to sound both beautiful and as if someone was killing a cat. The stereo had also chosen a volume that was very nearly driving Lucille mad.

She actually went looking for the silence.

There were still a few apology bouquets going out today, although not nearly as many as Nathan's notes showed had gone out yesterday. Peter himself had spent the weekend handwavily as a very confused doctor-turned-pirate-turned-governor, and as far as he knew hadn't actually bothered anyone, but he was beginning to wonder if this was a usual thing.

So, he was taking time out today to troll through all the catalogues he had, looking to see what sorts of "Sorry I turned into x" bouquets were available.

There were actually several worlds that had them in stock. He couldn't decided if that was worrying or comforting.
