Deep breath.

Exhale. Okay. Sparkle could do this. When he arrived at the Demon Marcus, he took a minute to pull the clothing racks outside, and set up his chair and made himself comfortable for the sidewalk sale while the contractors continued working inside. He'd throw himself into debt for this if need be; repairs needed to happen, and whether he could get the insurance company to cooperate with him or not, Demon Marcus needed to be repaired.

Still, he was going to spend a good chunk of the morning arguing with a rep on the phone. Because he'd rather not pay out of pocket if he could manage it, thank you. It was going... marginally better than it had the last time he'd called them. Even if conversations like this still freaked him the hell out.

God, it felt good to step behind the counter at Luke's again. There were still repairs going on here and there, but the place was looking like an actual business again. The sort where people could come in, sit down, and eat.

"Hey!"

And the requisite Sunday pancake stack avalanche.

Today's Specials:
Pancakes! It's Sunday!

Luke's was open, the fans were on to make up for the continued lack of air conditioning, and the cook was making up a new stack of pancakes to replace the ones that had wound up falling on the busboy. Again.

So... that was that, then. The repairs to the old Groovy Tunes building were complete, Jono had sold off the old building (with some waffling, since it used to be his home, too), actual stock had started to arrive to the place that was once the Boards, and it was all starting to look somewhat like a reputable business. The sign outside still read 'The Boards,' and he'd have to have that changed up, but for now Jono could at the very least get on a ladder and change up the marquee to read differently.

GROOVY TUNES NEW LOCATION
STOP IN FOR ALL YOUR MUSIC NEEDS

... Well, music needs minus a sizeable number of albums, granted. But excess stock that had survived the shark was currently stacked in boxes in the costume storage space, and if it wasn't something they had in stock right now, Jono would be perfectly happy to order it in.

So, the Groovy Tunes was open, as was the stage beyond the lobby in case anybody wanted to show up today to jam or rehearse.

[OOC: Open! Come check out what he's done with the place!]

They had given Aloy a room number - somewhere in that big castle to sleep. She hadn't trusted it; no sane person would immediately trust some strange place that they wandered into, where people she didn't know seemed to know her.

So she had set up camp for the night in the middle of the woods. She'd made a fire, and her clothes were warm enough to sleep in. Now, she was awake, alert, and hungry.

She should be working on finding a way home. Not that she was aching to go back; it was... nice, walking around somewhere where people didn't shun her on sight. Where she could have a conversation, no matter how strange, about something.

But Rost needed her. The old man would never admit it, but she could see the sadness in his eyes sometimes. He'd be frantic right now, tearing through the Embrace trying to find her. Aloy sighed. "Going back the way I came hasn't worked," she mused to herself. "Maybe I should go looking for another arch..."
