Trooper Station, Friday

The Troopers today were apparently engaging in some sort of... cooking contest.

Liam didn't want to know why, and more importantly, he didn't want to know how. The Station had what could rudimentarily be considered a 'kitchen', aka a space with a fridge, sink, and a microwave... but that didn't explain the things the Troopers were managing to come up with.

Some of which weren't actually terrible? Not that Liam was going to encourage them too much. While it was true that there wasn't much for his staff to do on a typical day, it wouldn't be good if they decided to go join the kitchen staff at Luke's, or something.

The Park, Friday Afternoon

So it was a little wet today. It was warmer than it had been recently, and Kanan was over whatever that stupid bug was that he'd picked up over the weekend, and so he was out here today with his swords. The bamboo training sword and his lightsaber, yes. There were moments between bouts of rainfall when he'd pull out the bamboo sword and attempt to recall some two-bladed forms he'd touched on in lessons back when he was little, otherwise he had it tucked under the park bench to keep it from warping in the rain, and he had his lightsaber out on its own.

It was entirely possible that he took some comfort in the sound of the water hissing against plasma whenever the rain came close to the blade. It was an old familiar sound, one that he hadn't really heard since he was a kid at war alongside his Master.
