Dite's Decadent Delights, Saturday

So, Reno was here at work, in spite of his better judgment. Sure, the potions he'd ordered had arrived, and sure, he'd applied some of that gunk directly to the injuries he'd gotten last week, which had done an impressive amount of good all on its own. But potions were meant to be taken orally for best effect, and so some of the deeper injuries he'd sustained were still stubbornly lingering, causing him the occasional bout of limping or doubling over swearing because he went and moved wrong. It was just, shit, in the wake of last weekend, there was one scar he actually wanted to keep. A reminder; the cut of a knife running below and parallel to one of the tattoos gracing his cheekbones.

And so, while he was (arguably) healed enough to actually be semi-upright today, he was by no means back up to top form. His day at Dite's was going to be spent sitting at the counter, picking through the free condoms basket and sorting them by the color of the packet just for shits and giggles.

Miguel folded his arms. "I don't care if it's a regional delicacy. I'm not even saying no because of the reason you clearly want me to. I'm saying we can't put fried spider on the menu because nobody will eat it."

He waved off the cook. "You know what? I'll do the specials today. You want spider, you eat it."
