Sabine wouldn't say she was hungover because she was stubborn, but she did have a raging headache. And she had to work. And there was still a lot to do for homecoming.

She was here, though, and working, and drinking water, and hoping people only wanted to use the meditation center today.

Clothes Over Bros- Thursday

Brooke was at work, and she was unhappy, which largely had to do with the fact that she was mostly blue.

And now, while trying to dress a mannequin up for homecoming in irritation, she was on the phone with customer service for the bath bomb that had done this to her, using words like "blueberry" and "legal team" and "I will own your whole family."

Anyway there was a homecoming sale on! Hi!

Hernando put the sign out first today. It had rattled all over in excitement.

Too tired to stand all day, Hernando retrieved a comfortable barstool from his residence and sat behind the counter. He steeped himself a mug of the herbal partly to try it - and it was tasty - and partly to help ward off whatever ague was trying to take him over.

The Perk; Thursday Evening [10/18].

After not having class last week and knowing a few things about how this week had been going in general, Summer sent out a text, a Twitter DM, and Facebook messages to her class earlier that day that basically said something along the lines of: So, if I'm not mistaken, about half the regulars in the class don't even have opposable thumbs right now, so no regular class this week. I will be at the Perk during classtime today, though, if anyone wants to have a little sesh to go over something or get a headstart on next week's class, no big deal, real casual, and I'll buy your coffee.

There. Now she didn't have to feel like she was just being a slacker as she got a PSL, camped herself at one of the larger tables, and pulled out her laptop, which she was going to use to update Turtle & Canary's website, which was in dire need of some upgrading anyway, though, again, she'd be happy to be interrupted for any classwork if anyone actually showed up. Which she honestly didn't think they would, but, hey, there wasn't a single one of them that she wouldn't want to stop everything and just babble about social media over coffee with, so it worked out either way.

Covent Garden Flowers, Thursday

Octavia should've been doing better by now.

For the most part, she even was. If only because she'd learned over the years to repress the hell out of things. Hide crap away even from herself because there were more pressing concerns to deal with. Of course, that was harder here. On the Ark, it had been a question of living in cramped quarters and not wanting to upset her mom and Bellamy. On the ground, it had been about focusing on survival.

And here...

Here, she was free to roam, food was bountiful, and the environment wasn't actively trying to kill her. It meant it was much harder to focus on things outside herself, to keep from spending too much time mulling over her feelings. But she was trying.

You know. Like nice, stable people did.

Covent Garden Flowers was open, and Octavia was working on another completely ridiculous flower arrangement.
