It was a quiet enough day, and Sabine was spending her time taking things apart, sketching them out so she had something to design from later, and then putting them back together. Basically just easy work that'd give her something to do later when she was bored.

Furnado Animal Shelter;Thursday [11/08].

Everything at the shelter seemed fairly settled today, which was nice to see. Sidon hadn't been sure how Tuesday might have been for all the animals, but if any of them were particularly bothered or disturbed or displaced, they appeared to have gotten over it by now. He didn't have loads of animals to bring back from class today, which he was a little sad about, as he always did enjoy the challenge, but that just gave him more energy to pay attention to the ones that were already there, the puppies that always needed a good dose of playing, the cats following him around, confused as to whether he had food for them or was food for them, the birds and all their pretty songs.

Just a nice, normal day, really, and that suited him just fine, feeling particularly grateful that he had the opportunity every week to do something so simple but helpful, something so nice and rewarding.

The Perk - Thursday mid-morning.

Another day of datamining, another day he needed enough caffeine to jumpstart his heart. Kaidan headed to the Perk. "Not strawberry," he joked with the barista, "Maybe do a turtle mocha?"

She shot him a slightly petulant look. It wasn't fair when he came right out and asked for something like that.

"Don't worry, I'll be having more than one," he reassured her, "You can make the next one wacky."

Satisfied, she went to make him a large hot turtle mocha with a staggering amount of whipped cream.

Kaidan took his coffee to the comfy chair, settled it on the table at his elbow, and fired up his Omni Tool. The datapoint was still bothering him. Why Ilium? So now he was running down all of the shipping between Camala and Ilium for the prior ten years. It was sparse.

He couldn't actually drink the coffee until he worked the whipped cream down, so every few moments, he was taking another bite out of the mound and trying not to get it on his nose.

The park- Thursday morning

The weather was still nice enough, so she decided to steal the dogs for a while and take them on a nice, overly long walk.

Because she was trying to make gravity work on this kid.

By the time she got back around to the park, Rook had flopped and decided she was done, and Kitty was sighing at her. "This isn't being helpful. Lucky, no, not you too."

Covent Garden Flowers, Thursday

Every plant in the shop was a different color today. All of them. And even if it wasn't all that surprising, given the store's track record, it was still pretty disorienting.

But luckily, something else was keeping Octavia distracted and occupied. Because she was on the phone with an annoying (potential) customer.

"And you're sure you want the arrangement in the shape of a turkey?"

Sigh.
