Trooper Station; Monday [01/14].
Monday, January 14th, 2019 06:40 amSo, apparently, Rosa's neighbor had gotten a cat, which meant that, thanks to the odd nature of the sometimes obnoxiously too-thin wall between their apartments, Arlo 2 knew there was a new friend on the other side of it and Arlo 2 had spent all night trying to get to that new friend, which meant that Rosa hadn't exactly slept well and she was clinging to the coffee pot that day. Thank god it was actually coffee, too, although, really, it could only be classified as such on a technicality. It did the trick, though, and it also helped that Arlo 2 was with her in the station that day as well. She was worried if she'd left her by herself, she'd come home to a straight up hole in the wall between her and Baby Linetti's apartments, and she did not want to deal with that crap when she got home.
It also helped a little that, upon entering the station and getting her first sight of Ralph, Arlo 2 let out a little bark, the cutest damn growl in the world, and made a lunge straight for his feet, not to lick his boots, but to gnaw on them.
Awww. She actually was learning! This was going to be great once she was big enough to maybe go for the face instead.
