Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [01/22].
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 06:04 amAstrid had gotten herself another new batch of watercolor paints, and, still feeling a little thoughtful after yesterday's usual whirlwind of classes, brought them with her to the flower shop so she could knock a few paintings out before getting to work, since the Valentine's Day orders were only getting heavier and more demanding, and where were all these people with Valentine's Day orders coming from, anyway? It was supposed to be maybe the one painting, maybe two, just to get it out of her system, but she should have known better. She should have known that, as soon as she finished one, another plant would jump out at her and catch her attention with demands to be painting, and then another after that, and after that...
It was never much of a mystery how she went through watercolors so quickly.
And she wondered if she could make a convincing argument that these people with their Valentine's Day flowers should consider purchasing a painting of flowers instead. It would, after all, last much longer. Though she supposed her paintings were far less likely to sing to you, the way the flowers at the shop were wont to do.
Covent Garden is open!
