The Park; Sunday Afternoon [07/28].

Ugh! If Promptia thought the weather was gross earlier when she was out for her run, it was even worse by the time the afternoon came around. But...but! There was a corner of the park that was seriously doing some really cool stuff, flora-wise, that she absolutely had to get pictures of, despite the heat, despite the humidity, despite the general grossness of the day.

And that was how you knew she was a real artist, people, suffering for her art like this. But these were going to be some great photographs, well worth the sweat.

...that's what Promptia was just going to keep telling herself, anyway.

Demon Marcus, Sunday

Sparkle walked into the Demon Marcus today, kind of holding his breath in fear of what he might find.

It was a clothing store. A nice, normal clothing store. Over there was the counter, by which he had his nail polish and some novelty socks on display. That wall had shelving with folded jeans...

Nice, normal clothing store. Which would have totally been a relief, if Sparkle had any idea that things had been weird lately. As it stood, she was just here for her shift, filing her nails, taking the occasional smoke break, contemplating trying on that pair of shoes that caught her eye, occasionally belting out show tunes just to pass the time...

You know. Normal Sparkle things.

Kanan was worried. Well. In the few moments edgewise where Kanan actually got to be Kanan, Kanan was worried. He kept checking his phone hoping that maybe Rey had just gotten sidetracked on Friday and couldn't call because someone was paying close attention or something, but still, no word.

Was it too early to start making daring rescue plans? Hell, he didn't even know which version of his reality she was in, never mind what year, all he knew was 'Jakku,' and 'future,' because she'd always turned down offers of care packages. He'd never gotten an... address or anything...

He frowned at his phone and fired off a text.

Starting to worry, do you need someone to get you out of there? Text me when you can.

And then sighed and settled behind the counter, wondering if there was some way he could reverse-engineer the data on his phone to pinpoint exactly where and when her last calls had come from...

In the kitchen, the staff acted out a spaghetti western. Using actual spaghetti.

Kanan ignored them. Didn't even check to see if the specials board had pancakes on it, today.
