Liam didn't remember exactly how the topic had come up, but somehow, he and Beau had been talking and they'd made the mutual discovery that not only had neither of them been to the bowling place on the island, neither of them had ever actually gone bowling at all.

Being the naturally competitive people that they were, they'd decided they should fix that. So here they were, swapping out regular shoes for ugly bowling shoes and about to get down to the extremely serious business of a bowling competition.

The Onsen; Sunday Afternoon [11/10].

The funny thing about all this was that Shunsui, by now, had quite possibly had his most productive days in recent memory, simply by doing the same thing he always did (lazing about and drinking sake), but just relocating and adding water. He'd already gotten in some quality soaking time with Octavia-chan before her soaking days were temporarily put on hold (which was, after all, the whole purpose of this entire onsen streak in the first place), there was a nice little spark of inspiration for teaching again (even if only for the school trips), he'd met a wonderful, charming, and of course beautiful young lady (although was something a bit familiar about her, wasn't there?), and he'd even found an excellent use for some of the empty boxes from the store (anything to pamper a lovely lady, even when that lady was a cat ♥).

And all he had to do was take a little stroll and having a nice, long soak in the onsen.

He was so proud of himself that he figured he might as well treat himself, a nice little reward for all that hard work and productivity.

The Perk, Sunday Afternoon

The summer had, like, really done a number on the places she could go to get sugar without fearing for... well. Like. Anything weird happening. Sure, like, she could still go to Chilly Boulder but it was getting colder and yeahno, she'd rather get something warm.

And peppermint in her hot chocolate was really rather lovely even if she had asked for an apple cider and gotten a hot chocolate instead.

At least, as far as she could tell, there was nothing wrong with her cinnamon bun.

Nina curled up in a chair and table by the window, half her attention on her book, the other half of it on people-watching.

And every now and then she pulled out her tablet and went looking for new dresses that might be, like, first-date suitable.

She was not obsessed, honest. Honest.
