From the outside, it probably looked like Tisarwat was actually very engaged in her work today, shifting through a lot of the music and then looking up various things to play on the stereo, jotting down some notes after a while of listening, and then moving on to something else. Sometimes she went back. Sometimes she listened to a whole song before moving on to another, sometimes it was just a snippet before she reacted and moved on.

It might look, to someone who imagined Tisarwat to be a hard worker, that she was merely familiarizing herself with more Earth music and cataloguing it in some fashion, but really? She was simply trying to put together a potential playlist for her 'house'-warming party, and was just being incredibly serious and dedicated to making sure it was perfect.

Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [06/02].

There was an abundance of eucalyptus crowded around the counter when Astrid came in that day, and all the teas available to brew seemed to be very heavy on the cloves. Add that to the fact that there was a distinct icy chill in the air that day and Astrid couldn't help wondering if sometimes, this place managed to tap into something deep within her psyche and pull up all the things to make her remember things that she'd rather forget.

I am your home, she’d once said, and maybe it was still true. But it wasn't what Astrid wanted to think about when she was finally starting to feel comfortable here again.

Even the orchid with his little electric guitar was playing 'Michelle,' one of Ingrid's favorites. She used to sing it in French.

In the one letter among dozens that Astrid had allowed herself to read, she'd mentioned that she was learning how to astral project. Of course, Astrid didn't believe that.

But then there were days like these, where there was eucalyptus everywhere, the tea tasted of cloves, and Ingrid's brassy voice in French invaded her head, that Astrid started to wonder if maybe she should believe.

"Did, did you do this?" she asked Mr. Bubbles as she surveyed the shop.

Mr. Bubbles was deeply offended at the idea that he'd have the power to change all of the clothes into--

"I suppose not," Alluka said. "And some of them are pretty! It's, it's just that..."

Everything was floral-patterned today. Everything.

"It's so easy to go wrong with florals..."

They were best used in moderation!

Iris had meant to just turn on the music, crank it up, and clean today. It had felt like the sort of day to really dig down and make things spotless and perfect.

Then Elena had called to complain about Rosa and... well.

That was a form of amusement too.

Not as conductive to blasting Taylor Swift and cleaning though.

"Okay," she said, interrupting Elena mid-rant. "Give it to me again, startin' from the beginnin' and I'll see if we can't figure this out."

All was fine at the Devil's Nest by Tuesday. Chairs had been tastefully arranged in front of the axe range, not so much blocking it as gently hiding it from view.
