Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [08/11].

Astrid had decided in class last week that all the plants at Covent Garden (or at least, as many as she could get to) were going to have "nice" (it was a relative term) new macrame'd holders and hangers, and, sure enough, there was now an impressive abundance of macrame holders and hangers to go with several of the plants.

And she was discovering that, yes, macrame holders and hangers really were so bad that people were reluctant to take them even if they were free.

It wasn't a surprising discovery, of course, but a discovery all the same.

There actually was a lot of work to do in the shop that Tuesday for a change, as a large shipment of CDs and (unfortunately) vinyl had arrived and Tisarwat was definitely going to seize the opportunity to keep busy and get it all processed and put away properly.

At least, she was going to try, but she was finding out that Summer, when deprived of her phone for more than twelve hours, seemed to make up for lost time and then triple because Tisarwat was receiving more texts from her than she could even keep up with, to the point where she finally dropped her phone into a drawer, shut it firmly, and there it would remain until she managed to get her work done and then would simply complain about how she'd lost the damn thing. By then, she could probably think of a good spot where she'd "lost" it to make the story convincing, or maybe she could just claim a squirrel stole it or something.

She'd worry about that later; for now, she actually had something to do around the shop and planned to take advantage of it and deal with damage control later.

Syndulla Scrap; Tuesday [08/11].

There were some possible new plans fer the snowmobile comin' up here (even if those plans might technically make it not so much a snowmobile anymore), so Wayne decided he'd just leave that fer now until Shuri had a chance to come look at it and get an idea of what she might need to make her own modifications on it, and that got him thinkin' a little about how then that'd make at least three people who'd added their personal mark to the thing, and wouldn't it be interesting if there were a bit more?

Then again, too many cooks, and all that. Maybe it was just best leavin' it be after that.

Meantime, he got around to moving things from here to here and tending to the bitey bits, feeling a bit grateful that the s'mores monstrosities from yesterday seemed enough to save him from diggin' up any other monstrosities in the scrap today.

There had been pizza delivered to the bar. A lot of it.

Kitty wasn't sure why. She hadn't ordered it. Tino said he hadn't. The delivery person said it was already paid for and he couldn't take it back, so... apparently they had too many pizzas now?

The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

"Tonight," Lucifer called, "I want to see some dancing in this bloody club!"

... Yeah, it was one of those nights he'd advertised for on the mainland. Lucifer had felt like entertaining after all that nonsense last week, and so his performance at the piano might be a little over-the-top tonight.

It was definitely upbeat, however.

And that was before they brought in the liquor ice tower.

... Sometimes you just had to make a night of it.
