"Who the fuck organized everything by color? The fucking things are mixed in with the other things and-"

Ugh.

"Fuck it. I don't care."

He went back behind the counter and worked on his plans for this evening.

"It does look nice though. Damn it."

Not that Amaya particularly expected a huge swing in business with the start of the new semester and some fresh faces potentially interested in shiny new weapons next week, but she was always open to the possibility, so this week had been, for the most part, a good week for her to catch up on all her half-finished and half-started projects that had been laying around the shop for a bit.

Which is to say this week had been fairly busy in the forge, since there were a lot of half-finished and half-started projects laying around the shop.

But it kept her busy, it kept her focused, and it gave her an overdue sense of accomplishment to knock out a good handful of projects and clear the roster...

...so she could fill it right back up with more half-finished and half-started projects next week!

It was a cycle.

Of course Kitty had been exactly the kind of kid who tried testing her boundaries her first year or so at the X Mansion, which had meant going to a couple midnight movie showings dressed in ways she absolutely should not have been allowed out in. That phase had also died pretty quickly once she realized that no one was going to yell at her for it, but it had still been fun.

And since last week had sucked, it was the perfect time for her and Tony to throw a Rocky Horror Picture Show Petey Scifi Talky Picture showing and give people the chance to let loose a little.

There was an "Enter at your own risk" sign on the front door, the back room had been done up in a lot of red, and there was a very good chance you needed a party today.

Iris had been off the island for… quite some time and, honestly, she weren't so sure that she would be staying around for long this time either. It was hard to stay here, without Zack, especially when her other husband and her primary job were back on Gaia.

And yet…

Well, if the cord needed to be cut, she'd cut it eventually. She'd leave that up to the future.

For now she was going to drift around her store, admiring the work Lucille had been doing in her absence (Lucille was a good minion), cleaning, and making notes on what she needed to restock and what new stock for autumn would be necessary.

There was a very perturbed Tiny behind the bar in a French maid costume as Eric swanned in, wearing nothing but shiny gold shorts, told Tiny he was alone on the shift tonight, and swanned out to Caritas.

Tiny would probably not spit in your drinks, but he was definitely pissed at Eric.
