There was nothing unusual about Shunsui napping behind the counter at T&C. Those naps weren't usually fueled by the utter body and soul exhaustion that came from having spent several days in a deep, medetative state attempting to reconcile his relationsip with his swords, but, for all intents and purposes, it certainly seemed like just another typical Wednesday at the store.

Shunsui had to admit, though, he was glad it was apparently National Toilet Paper Day, because it was much more difficult to Apu-san to make a disturbing clatter with toilet paper pyramids than pretty much anything else.

Now that the shenanigans and the summer were pretty much over, Summer had sort of lost her hook to promote people trying her jello shots, but she did have a new idea percolating in her head for it. But with it being break week and the Rocky Horror thing going on tomorrow, she figured it was best saved for at least next week.

Which just meant mostly spending her free time behind the bar giving Tino the same sort of judgey looks he was trying to avoid from her by not reprising yesterday's fishnets, because she was kind of a brat like that.

*Shockingly, there are apparently no hummus jello recipes on the internet, and I hate that I was almost tempted to try and make this, just to see how it turned out. Thank god for laziness and veganism.

Fandom Trooper Station, Wednesday

It was apparently International Dog Day and that was as good of a distraction from last week than any. Even if it meant strange phone calls about whether or not there would be a parade or if dogs were being given the right to vote next.

Which was so far from his purview that Danny,was going to let the troopers handle those calls. He also bribed them with more baked goods to prevent an uprising, so it was all working out in the end.

It was a normal week. A perfectly normal week. Duke had gotten a full, normal night's sleep last night; he hadn't had any sort of trauma since the nightmare horses. The bruises from Haven were fading. He felt good and strong and normal, god dammit.

So it was time for some perfectly normal morning yoga.

Yeah. That would last.

So apparently Mae had managed to sleep through, like, half a week. That was a new record, even for her, so she was making up for it now by going all out speeding around town. Jumping on all the things. Tight-roping and balance-beaming everywhere.

Stupid weird glowy-eyed dream horses. Whatever. SHE WAS PERFECTLY FINE, OKAY?
