So there were definitely a lot of spiders in the Forge today, and not just the very cool metal ones Amaya made this time of year because they were popular with the handful of people who somehow thought to themselves, hey, while I'm getting a few weapons, maybe I should get some Halloween decorations while I'm at it, too!

There were also a lot of hammers in the Forge, as usual, and Amaya was incredibly good at swinging those hammers with decided force and percision.

Sheild your eyes, kids. This was not going to be pretty.

But the Forge is open!

So there were spiders. Lots of spiders.

After capturing a couple of spiders to examine, Barry determined they seemed rather harmless so he just set up a low ultra sonic emitter specifically geared to keep the spiders away from the store.

Unfortunately that specific emitter would occasionally turn on one of the... er. "toys" in the store requiring Barry to occasionally run around and shut off items he'd rather not shut off.

Which was still better than dealing with a lot of spiders.

There were spiders all over the place today. Which was awful, but Danny felt like putting up with the insect life in Hawaii had at least prepared him for some of this. Though there was one particularly aggressive spider just hanging out the doorway to the Perk, just taunting him.

It continued to build an almost comically large web, possibly out of spite. Who even knew with this place.

"I just want a coffee," Danny grumbled, trying to duck under the web to get inside without messing up his hair with cobwebs. It was a losing battle.

[open!]

Duke had been planning to catch up on some paperwork today.

"The hell are you doing out here?" he asked Ali. "Don't you have, you know, work to do?"

"Dishwasher's full of spiders," Ali said, heading to the lunch counter.

"What?"

Ali pulled a pistol out of what was apparently a fake napkin dispenser. "Dishwasher's full of spiders," he said again. And headed back into the kitchen.

Duke stared after him for a moment, then jumped up and hurried to the kitchen. "Why do you need a gun for spiders?!"

Luke's was open. And mostly not full of spiders.

Eric wasn't behind the bar tonight--he was in the lounge with a salt-powered bug gun shooting spiders who came too close to his drink.

The drinks that were being served over at the bar were entirely Tiny's problem.

Tiny, being the pragmatic sort, was looking up what kind of drinks spiders would like.

The Devil's Nest was open, if a little stranger than usual.
