There was some discount Halloween candy on sale on the concessions counter at the movie theater today, and it was bringing back some memories of days long past down at Wonka's, which -- Yeah, he was kind of trying not to think about it too much.

... He was thinking about it so much that it took him well into the day to even notice what feature they were advertising in the lobby today.

"Ingrid, uh, isn't that a Christmas flick?"

Ingrid, very chipper, replied, "It sure is!"

Her tone did not make Bucky want to question it any further than that.

MST3000 was open for business. Come get your Christmas season started, apparently.

So. The party sure had been fun for awhile there, hadn't it?

Annie, who had been grateful for a number of reasons that she'd been able to eventually echolocate her way home last night before she changed back into herself, had woken up this morning half-hoping it had been a really weird, Halloween-drink-influenced dream.

But no, she was beyond trying to deny the weird things that happened here, and so by the time she had curled up at a table in the Perk with a latte and her hood up (both because it was cold and because it was a little embarrassing to have been a flying rodent, okay?), she was fully acknowledging that she had, indeed, transformed into a bat last night. And gotten stuck in someone's hair.

From what she remembered, though...a bat was not that bad, all things considered. (There was everyone involved in the hair situation, after all.)

So that was weird, and Rey might rethink a lot of things about the next Halloween she participated in. She was instead choosing to think about the good parts of the night instead. Like the first hour of it. And the fact that Anakin dressed up as Princess Doctor Puppy Ballerina was now his contact picture in her phone.

Otherwise work was normal enough, which was a relief. The gremlin was even back to walking around with its mecha-suit.

"All that work and you're done with it already?" Rey asked.

The gremlin shrugged, and went about its day.

Still felt like a lot of setup for nothing to Rey.

Yesterday had been...odd. Silver wasn't entirely sure what had happened but he woke up as himself so he figured it could have been worse. He was becoming pretty adept at repressing strange things like that.

The rum helped.

Allie was enjoying the clear night air as she made her way down the long-abandoned highway towards Old DC. It had been nearly a year since she’d last visited Azura’s city, and if Allie was honest with herself, she’d missed the Vampire Prince. They’d developed a grudging respect for one another in the years since the first time Allie had shown up with a package of the vaccine against Rabidism that had been developed in Eden.

The sudden glimpse of light through the trees was not exactly unexpected. Allie had looked for it every time she’d traveled this way for the last six years. But she wasn’t willing to get her hopes up. Not yet. Not until she could be sure. Jumping gracefully over the concrete barrier on the side of the road, she started making her way towards the light.

Beau had barely been at work ten minutes before there was a loud clanking noise from ... somewhere in the general direction of the locker rooms, apparently. Going to check it out was a much better option than having to find excuses to avoid making small talk with that one especially chatty spin class woman who always had the blindingly neon green workout pants, even if she did kind of enjoy the challenge a little bit.

When she got down there, though, nothing seemed to be out of place, and she couldn't see what might have made the noise in the first place.

Well. She did enjoy a good mystery (just look at how everything Netflix recommended to her now was some kind of unsolved mystery series), and what was she going to do now, leave this one unanswered? Hell no. Not that she was surprised to find out, an hour or so later, that gremlins had been playing around in the lockers, but it sure as hell had been fun to get to the bottom of it.

"It's haunted," she told Ms. Neon Green Pants, her expression as unreadable as she could possibly make it. "I guess some ghosts don't pay much attention to what day it is, but, uh... yeah, man. Is that wild or what?"

And with that, she sauntered off to make some new adjustments to the parkour course.
