Turtle & Canary; Monday [11/16].
Monday, November 16th, 2020 04:28 amIt turned out that Summer's phone-related pony FOMO was all for naught, because once she did have hands and went back to catch up on the drama llamas that had all her triple-H-S circles flailing, it hadn't even been all that interesting and honestly? She had been better off not getting sucked into something that lame to begin with. So thank you, ponification? She guessed? Whatever. There were more important things to take care of, like her job, and other mysteries in front of her, like...
"Apu, why does the back room look like a fucking war zone? I thought you stayed, you know, human this weekend?"
Oh, he had. And he thought that was a very interesting choice of words.
Summer blinked at Apu and this cryptic response. Apu stared back, the sort of long-distant stare that seemed to beg her to not make him say it. Summer blinked again.
"Ohmygod! And you left it like that? Did you think I would clean that up?"
And it was very clear that Apu was going to fight against having to do it, and Summer knew that they both had pretty good pull for 'I do enough as it is around here already,' and she knew that actually getting their boss to do it would actually probably be more work than the actual cleaning or more bargaining that Summer was willing to do.
"Fine," she said, "get the panda. We're drawing straws."
