Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [03/02].

They may have missed cherry blossom season when they were in Japan last week, but, apparently, the flower shop was going to make up for it, as the place seemed to be full of pale pink and white sakura falling gently from the ceiling, sometimes dancing on a rogue draft.

Which was particularly interesting, because there weren't any actual cherry trees anywhere in the shop. At least, not as far as Astrid could tell.

And it was all very pretty, really, but she couldn't help feeling that either Kyōraku-san was about to make a dramatic entrance, or that this was all going to be a really big pain in the butt to clean up at the end of the day.

Which then made her try and think of who might be working here tomorrow, because maybe if she just left them, they'd disappear by then, but she'd feel sort of bad if they didn't and she ended up forcing someone else to do it.

Anyway...Covent Garden is open! Hope you like cherry blossoms!

Groovy Tunes; Tuesday [03/02].

Last week had been so quiet around here with pretty much everyone (at least, all the people Tisarwat generally interacted with) gone for the school trip, that she'd managed to get an awful lot of work around the store done. So much so that, when she came in that morning, she realized that was nothing really left for her to do.

She thought about maybe practicing at one of the pianos a little or reading some more books, but she'd also done a ton of that in the absence of her social circle that even that lost its appeal a little.

Maybe she could reorganize the CDs again. Catalogue them by year released rather than alphatetically by artist? Or maybe color? That could look cool...and give her something to do next week, by arranging them back again.

See, now, that was the kind of forward, one-step-ahead thinking that annexed entire galaxies, right there!

Caritas- Tuesday

After a great mostly hand waved oops trip to Japan that did not involve kidnapping or ninjas, Kitty was ready to get back to her normal routine today.

Well, okay, no she wasn't, her sense of time was off and now she was working at night. But the important thing was that she went to work!

Of course she walked in and Tino had put up fake "cobwebs" left over from Halloween all over the bar because he thought he was funny.

Rey's warehouse- Tuesday morning

That last training before the trip had gone differently than Rey would have liked. In fact, it had freaked her out quite a bit. The trip itself had given her an excuse to back away from training for a bit, and then once they were all back... then what?

Apparently "then what" meant thinking too hard about conversations she'd had, and then ultimately deciding she had to get back to it. So she messed up. The answer didn't feel like avoidance, she just had to be good.

This morning saw Rey back in the warehouse, tackling the obstacle course again. And really, it felt right to be doing this again.

Wellspring Arms, Tuesday

Did Din even know if he had employees? No, of course not. Because if he did, he'd know this was on of them's usual day to work. Which was why he was there, cleaning his rifle while the kid wandered around the shop, hopefully not getting into any trouble.

Maybe he needed to pick up some toys that weren't just a knob from his ship.

Maybe.
