It would seem that Shunsui was in for a rather normal day at the store again, since the only odd thing about the place today that he could notice was that someone had apparently bought them out of almost all of the cough drops, throat lozenges, and other such things earlier that morning. Which he felt was an odd detail for him to notice, and yet he still did.

Oh, and there was also the Eiffel Tower Apu-san was building out of crayons over by the Squishy machine, but was that really all that unusual at this point, really?

Caritas; Wednesday [03/31].

Hey, guess what, Caritas! Both your bartenders tonight were hungover!

Well, was it really hungover if you just kept drinking to stave off the side-effects? Whatever, it was still SPRING BREAK!, which meant that consequences were for sometime later! The crowd from yesterday had diminished slightly, but thanks to Tino's promotional efforts and Summer having worked the bar yesterday and made, like, a ton of new friends, it was still pretty hopping in Caritas for another night of Spring Break Shenanigans.

Summer absolutely did not have a voice today, between all the shouting she'd done literally all day yesterday (and despite having almost completely cleared out the cough drops on the shelves at the store earlier), but she wasn't going to let that stop her. And she had definitely super-relied on her jello maker that afternoon to prepare her shots (which meant that Barry had definitely received at least a couple of super relieved, gushing omg ilu texts whenever a batch came out perfect with very little effort). Sure, they weren't exactly her best work, but they were definitely boozy, and she was pretty sure that was going to be what most of the crowd tonight was going to care about.

They were, however, also definitely themed.

Look, she wasn't so trashed to forget that yesterday had been a very important day for a certain someone!

Calvin had a lab coat on over his armor today after Danny's attempt to encourage an in house forensics lab last week. Which was great except how that got shot down.

"I like the enthusiasm, but..." Danny began before offering one of the donuts he brought in. "Maybe next year."

Look, he didn't have it in him to crush that unrealistic CSI dream.

The Devil's Nest, Wednesday Evening

There were a handful or few of more people in the club tonight than there tended to be on most nights when Lucifer wasn't doing his mainland advertising thing. Most of them were hipstery types who'd foolisly set out looking for a better party than the one at Caritas (and were likely to return there sooner or later, as they figured out this really was just a small town club on a Wednesday night), while a few seemed to genuinely have gone around Caritas and accidentally ended up here instead.

It was impressive, honestly.

If you were the type to care, anyway, which Octavia wasn't. At least not this week. But at least the slight uptick in customers was helping keep her occupied and at least somewhat focused as she tried to make it through the shift.

(The axe range was not in service tonight. She didn't need that much excitement happening.)
