It was a slow day here. Slow enough that for busy work, the gremlin kept breaking the same thing just to put it back together again.

After a while, Rey asked, "Is that actually supposed to be returned to someone?"

This time the gremlin looked a little guilty while he put it back together.

Maeve had checked in with a couple people while she'd been here, but she hadn't actually been home since. With the school year done with, that meant she was going to have to actually make plans to go back, at least to check in on things. Make sure no one had broken into her home or anything. (Which, given her family, was a valid concern.)

So she was scrolling through her phone, trying to find good dates to leave and come back, while the coffee thing continued here.

It had been a blissfully quiet week. It had been so many days of no incident, in fact, that Silver had gone past enjoying and into the area where he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Because someone here couldn't enjoy nice things.

He was distracting himself by actually reading the bartenders bible tucked away behind the bar. Did you know there were drinks other than straight liquor? News to him.

The Perk, Sunday Afternoon

This week continued on its merry path not being a disaster, so Lucifer finally chanced heading out for another ridiculous order at the Perk. It had been a while since he'd had one of those chocolatey extreme shakes, and the grin on his face when the barista presented him with the massive (doughnut-topped) creation was almost as big as the shake itself.

Next week, he'd take Octavia and Duke out for a vacation and it would be perfect. He was spending his time with his extreme shake making multiple phone calls just to make absolutely sure it would be.

"Yes, we do want the divider in the bedroom gone-- no, we won't need space for nine other guests... how many vegan restaurants nearby would you recommend? On a scale of disgusting to downright surprising...?"
