Turtle & Canary; Friday [08/13].

Astrid should have probably paid more attention to the date, but, when you were sort of just a Bad Luck Person by default, you didn't really think too much about Bad Luck Days...you had enough of those just by existing.

But when she walked into Turtle & Canary that day to find that, somehow, there was a whole swarm of black cats just casually meandering around like they were browsing for groceries and Apu had, uncharacteristically, left a bunch of ladders out when he was finished using them, and there was a pile of broken mirrors sitting in the returns basket...she wondered if she should have just called off, called it a day, and just stayed in her room painting or something instead.

This did not bode well for pizza later, probably.

Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Friday [08/13].

Even though she herself was not particularly tall, the very top of Amaya's head had been skimming the sharp blades of the shuriken now stuck in the wall (which was still a better spot than stuck in the floor), so she figured, as striking as it looked, it might be a little dangerous for most people on the island who were taller. Last thing she needed was someone with poor depth perception to wander in and get a spike to the eye just walking around!

(Although one could argue that someone with depth perception that bad probably had no business buying sharp, pointing weapons, either. Amaya wouldn't argue that, but someone could).

So she'd been thinking about it and today she decided on a plan for rearranging a few other things around the shop to maybe put a few weapon racks angled in a certain way to prevent foot traffic from getting too close to the sharp bits of the giant, person-sized shuriken stuck in the wall.

She didn't love it, but it'll do for now until she came up with something better.

The Forge is open!

Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey was going out of town tonight, which in her mind seemed to mean that she had to push herself extra hard in training beforehand for some reason. Today she was working on jumps. She'd figured out that distance didn't really matter, but she was testing that a little, trying to do it while just avoiding things like ceilings on purpose.

You know, totally normal training stuff.

Friday- Fix & Clean Shop

 It was another Friday in Fandom. The week was coming to an end and Dwight had managed to avoid any extreme crazy for the most part. With the weekend at hand, Dwight had thrown himself into the last of the work he had. 

The biggest task on his to-do list was organizing the new supplies he had finally gotten ordered. It had taken long enough, but the shop was finally really starting to come together and look like something.

The boxes unloaded and organized and the shelves finally in order, Dwight turned his attention to the stack of lumber sitting outside the shop. Getting it inside and stacked was proving to be quite the task, but he was making decent progress.  Who knew, maybe he would be able to finish up at a decent time and have a chance to work on his own personal project for a bit?
