You know who went to work two days after watching the world end? This guy. It was a nice distraction, and he had a load of paperwork to get through after not being here for a week. Whatever kept him from thinking about where his siblings could possibly be in the timeline.

Saturday Afternoon- The Park

 It was looking like it was going to be a fairly nice day weather wise for the island, so Dwight decided to make the most of it.  His few NPC customers' orders were coming along and almost finished and it was time to take some time to relax.

Digging out his gear and finding something more comfortable to wear, Dwight headed out. He was soon at the park, settled back in folding chair he had brought, his tackle box and rod ready to go.  Beside him was a large thermos of hot tea and a cooler pail with some sandwiches.

Regardless of if he caught anything or not, he was interested in just relaxing and trying to forget the stress of the past week or so and just leave it all behind him, at least for the time being.

Aroud Town [Too Damn Early in the Morning]

Steve loved his early morning runs when he was back in Fandom: all of the stairs were great for his quads and the Navy SEAL he passed multiple times on his circuit was always really irritated in a very satisfying way. He began his final lap, glancing around for the new people he'd glimpsed on his run in the last few weeks.

[OOC: Since we have a bunch of handwavy morning joggers, figured this was a good way to get them to interact. Open!]

Luke's Diner, Saturday

Miguel came in and made his usual beeline for the coffee machine, greeting the staff absently as he passed. They greeted back. "Guten tag!"

Miguel squinted at them as he poured himself a cup of coffee. "Do I want to know?"

"It's German Language Day," one of the servers muttered in passing. "Just go with it."

Miguel sighed. "Right. I'll go get the specials board."

"Ich hab's!" the cook answered cheerfully, rushing to put it out.

Miguel pinched the bridge of his nose. "At least it's not all sauerkraut." Today was going to be a long day.

MHA, Landlord's apartment and around the building, Saturday

After Jon went out and checked around the building for any problems, he made his way to each floor and checked those, too. Even if he didn't own the place, he'd been somehow charged with managing it, and he'd be damned if he let whoever lived here deal with some of the things he'd had to deal with in his past flats.

Once he'd checked everything he could, he headed back down to his own place on the ground floor. He'd found a convenient (if, in his opinion, intrusive) sign for the door, announcing "The manager is IN/OUT", and with a sigh he set it to "IN" and hung it up.

There. He'd done his duty.
