With one holiday down, it was time to prep for the next one, since there were only a few days left already. Therefore Kitty made time in the morning to go around town and put up flyers.

Rey's shift after Christmas was always pretty predictable. She always ended up getting in all the toys kids had opened on Christmas morning and then broken within the first 24 hours. That had always felt careless to her, but at least trying to get everything fixed quickly so they could be used again right away gave her something to do.

The Perk; Sunday Afternoon [12/26].

Astrid was mostly going to blame it on Troy in particular being gone over the break, but things just felt so....quiet here during the winter holiday. She usually liked that about it, and while she knew she wasn't the only student around, it was starting to feel a little eerie in the dorms. So she decided to go out, enjoy the nice weather, feel a little sad that all the Christmas shenanigans were over, and then wound up at a table in the Perk, sketchbook open, pencil ready, black coffee with three sugars being slowly nursed in between sketches.

Hopefully, someone a little more interesting to draw than the squirrels or baristas (no offense meant to either, of course) might be by, but until then, she looked forward to filling up at least one sketchbook that would make future art scholars scratch their heads over such a prolific and extensive Squirrel Period.

Silver had a quiet holiday after a quiet couple of weeks (thanks, being a parrot), and it was looking to be a quiet day at work as well. He certainly wasn't complaining. He didn't have the same thirst for adventure as some other psychos people around here.
